Grand Lodge History

Welcome to the Hiram and Solomon Grand Lodge of Lebanon — a proud Masonic brotherhood rooted in tradition and purpose. Through unity, compassion, and authenticity, we strive to elevate men and inspire meaningful transformation.

The Hiram and Solomon Grand Lodge of Lebanon – Orient of Beirut officially commenced its work in the presence of all brethren of the Grand Lodge. During the opening session, the strategic plan entitled “Union – Humanity – Charity” was adopted, along with the main objectives and agenda for the Masonic year 2025–2026, in accordance with the practices of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite (AASR/REAA).

The Worshipful Grand Master and the Grand Officers were elected and appointed to their respective positions. They delivered brief speeches to the brethren present, expressing their wishes for a successful Masonic year, filled with fraternal love and constructive efforts aimed at achieving the highest levels of human, fraternal, and social interaction. The Lodge reaffirmed its openness to all sincere Masonic relations, both nationally and internationally.

In addition, the chairpersons and members of the various committees were elected, including: 

• the Finance Committee
• the Social Communication Committee
• the Ritual and Cultural Committee
• the Social Affairs Committee

The Worshipful Grand Master also instructed the appointed members to diligently fulfill their duties with integrity, in accordance with the responsibilities entrusted to them, and as stipulated by the general laws and regulations established in the internal bylaws, as well as in accordance with Masonic customs and traditions.

All brothers will work in this respect according to the basic principles of Freemasonry, continuing to expand their relations with the Grand and Blue Lodges operating in Lebanon and abroad, through the lodges working under the auspices of the Hiram and Solomon Grand Lodge of Lebanon, applying the slogan of love and brotherly tolerance.
